WGASC is currently accepting applications for the role of Color Guard Chief Judge.

The Chief Judge will report to the Executive Director, and collaborate with the Director of Instructor Education and the Judges Coordinator on circuit educational goals, primarily providing training and guidance to, and preparatory materials for local and visiting judges.  The Chief Judge plans and implements adjudicator training, provides weekly guidance to panels on WGASC adjudication practices including championships, and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of WGASC color guard contests.  The successful candidate will have at least ten years experience adjudicating in the pageantry arts (preferably color guards), and an in-depth knowledge of pedagogical approaches and educational tools with an emphasis on those designed for color guards by WGI.  Experience working with diverse constituents (such as leadership, adjudicators, and the instructor community) strongly preferred, as well as a demonstrated commitment to the goals of WGASC and evidence of cooperative problem solving skills.

The position is part-time variable and stipendiary, with no benefits.
