CG Instructor Education--SHOW DAY PREP #1

Published on Feb 05, 2024

Exciting news!

We are about to crack the seal on the 2024 WGASC season with many of us having our first performances this weekend or next. I’m sure you are feeling a mix of excitement and nervous energy. Show days can be stressful if you and your performers are not prepared, so our WGASC Advisory Committee has created a 3-part video series to help you prepare. As the adult in charge, you set the tone for your team. Stay cool and have a plan!

Be sure to carve out a few minutes to absorb this insightful presentation before your first show day. Even if you are a veteran instructor, it has been several months since we have been to a winter guard show and we all can use a few reminders. This is a fantastic resource to ensure you are set up for success.

Remember, your WGASC show day packet is your guiding star. Dive in, read it cover to cover and watch this video to help your show day be stress-free and full of positive memories.

Part 1 SHOW DAY PREP: Before the competition tips

Stay tuned for parts 2 (During the show) and 3 (After the show), set to hit your inbox in the coming weeks. Best of luck to those of you with your first shows this weekend, you've got this! Stay positive!
