WGASC honors the outstanding academic accomplishments of selected Southern California percussion, winds, and color guard performers and instructors with recognition at Championships and a scholarship paid to the higher education institution of the awardee’s choice, to help defray the expenses associated with tuition and fees for scholastic endeavors of professional training. A panel of WGASC representatives will be convened by the President of the circuit to determine award winners.
