What do you call SEVENTY winter guards from across the region converging on the beautiful campus of Saugus High School on Saturday, March 13th for an all day guard extravaganza? You call it the WGASC Los Angeles/Ventura County Invitational!! Please join us for a great day of beautiful pageantry entertainment and intense competition. The 2010 WGASC Scholarship and Distinguished Service Award application is now posted online at Our Website . This application MUST be submitted online. Please do not mail the application into the office. Applications must be submitted by 9pm on March 22nd, 2010.

Part of the education process in the winter guard activity is making sure an open dialogue occurs between adjudicators and instructional staff members. For this to happen, it is absolutely imperative you as an instructor do the following:

• Find the Critique Preparation form on the WGASC website
• Print out this form, and fill it out PRIOR to coming to your scheduled critique time
• Listen to your judges' comments PRIOR to coming your scheduled critique, using your complimentary MP3 player provided by the WGASC
